HOW TO CONTROL YOUR TV WITH YOUR SMARTPHONE.

Hello guys, In this post i will be showing you how to control your TV with your phone.
You can navigate your Android TV using your phone or tablet with the Android TV Remote Control app.
Currently, these manufacturers support  remote controlling:
Samsung
LG
Sony
Panasonic.
Philips

1: Download the Android TV Remote Control app

On your device, download and install the Android TV Remote Control app from Google Play or the App Store.
Make sure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your Android TV. On your device, open the Android TV Remote Control app. On your device, tap the name of your Android TV. On your TV screen, you’ll see a PIN. Enter this PIN on your device. On your device, tap Pair.
There are some limitations, however. The most important one is the lack of wake-on-LAN compatibility in most TVs. Basically, this means that you cannot turn on the TV with the smartphone – only navigate and turn the TV off.

2: Download the Peel app

Once you've installed the Peel app, it'll guide you through the process of setting up any TVs you want to control. Simply select the brand of your TV and your location. The app will step you through testing the power button and channel buttons to determine the specific remote protocol your TV uses. Depending on the model of your TV, you may need to try certain buttons multiple times before the Peel app will identify the correct signal to send. All in all, the setup process takes a couple of minutes at most, and when you're done, you'll be able to not only change the channel, adjust the volume and turn your TV on and off from your phone, you'll be able to browse your local TV guide and set reminders for upcoming shows you don't want to miss.
The Peel app is compatible with most modern TVs from the following manufacturers:
Samsung
LG
Sony
Panasonic
Soniq
Hisense
Toshiba
Sanyo
Sharp.
